Through the department veterans can receive information and direction
concerning Annuities, Awards & Medals, Bonuses, Burial Information, Chapter
115 Benefits, Employment, Flags and Grave Markers, Property and Excise Tax
Exemptions, Record Retention, Outreach, Shelters and Transitional Housing,
Soldier’s Homes, and Veterans’ Services.

At the Montachusett Veterans Outreach Center, we understand the hardships and sacrifices veterans have made for their country, your country, and the setbacks that often accompany them. For more than 25 years, we’ve been offering a full range of services for our veterans from counseling to food assistance to transitional housing and transportation. Since the beginning, our veterans’ outreach center has been faithful to the mission, vision, and guiding principles of founder Cathy Stallings McWilliams: to provide transitioning veterans with the counseling, tools, and assistance they need to recover their bearings and to restore a sense of dignity and self-sufficiency. If you find your path has become too steep, treacherous, or unfamiliar, we’ll provide you with the tools to continue and succeed in any community environment.
