The Commonwealth of Massachusetts is the only state in the Union that has made generous provisions through state law by providing an array of services to veterans, their spouses and their dependents in their local community.

Through the department veterans can receive information and direction concerning Annuities, Awards & Medals, Bonuses, Burial Information, Chapter 115 Benefits, Employment, Flags and Grave Markers, Property and Excise Tax Exemptions, Record Retention, Outreach, Shelters and Transitional Housing, Soldier’s Homes, and Veterans’ Services.

Do you know a veteran, or even yourself, that has had a tough return to civilian life, that has maybe been affected by hurdles they/you can’t seem to overcome? At the Montachusett Veterans Outreach Center, we understand the hardships and sacrifices veterans have made for their country, your country, and the setbacks that often accompany them. For more than 25 years, we’ve been offering a full range of services for our veterans from counseling to food assistance to transitional housing and transportation. Life is often harder for a veteran than many civilians can fathom and we’re here to help every step of the way.
