ARCPC helps
working parents and guardians with childcare costs at participating area
centers and family childcare homes through sliding fee scholarships. ARCPC
also provides a resource room, lending library, free workshops and a parent
support group. ARCPC serves income eligible, working parents in Athol and
Royalston with children from age two years and nine months to five years
old.

of education and support for income-eligible women. This is an individually
tailored program of computer education, job-skills training and personal
support for women who wish to learn new skills in order to enter the
workforce, to get better jobs, or to improve the quality of life for
themselves and their families.
We invite you to visit and experience the welcoming environment at HOPE,
which is open daily, Mon - Fri from 8:30 - 4:30 p.m. Come in and speak with
a staff member about computer training and HOPE's other programs for women
and children.

The Parent-Child Development Center offers
comprehensive Head Start, Early Head Start and childcare services to
children birth up to Kindergarten through a menu of options including:
center-based classrooms and home visiting, and in licensed and monitored
Family Child Care homes throughout Franklin and Hampshire Counties. Some
services are offered year round, others are school-year. Head Start and
Early Head Start services are free to eligible families. State sliding
scale fees apply to childcare services.

Seeds of Solidarity brings
to life the connection between environmental and social justice issues
through research, demonstration, and hands-on education. Our work is a
response to the inequitable distribution of resources and ecological
destruction that plague communities locally and globally. We partner with
the schools to promote wellness through school gardens and greenhouses. Seeds of
Solidarity Education Center provides educational programs that promote
regional food and energy self-reliance. We try to contribute to the vitality
of the area through our SOL (Seeds of Leadership) Garden program for area
teenagers, and through the annual North Quabbin
Garlic and Arts Festival.

Y-Kids Depot is an EEC (Early Education and Care)
licensed child care facility providing a safe & fun environment for children
entering grades K-6th. Open year round, with the exception of nine holidays
and one week at the end of August when the Y is closed. The Y.M.C.A. Nursery
School is open to children age 2.9-5 years old. A half-day program offering
