The North Quabbin Community Coalition (NQCC) holds an informative forum on the third Friday of each month, September through June, at the Athol-Orange Elks Club, 92 New Athol Road, Orange, from 9:00 to 10:30 am. Various topics concerning the North Quabbin area are presented by assorted organizations, businesses and individuals. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Join a Western Massachusetts leader in Intellectual and Developmental Disability services.

Direct Care Residential - The United Arc, headquartered in Turners Falls, MA, provides services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Franklin, Hampshire and Hampden counties and the North Quabbin region of Massachusetts is seeking a dynamic and team-oriented individual to provide services to adults with developmental disabilities in a residential living situation. Second shifts, overnights and weekend shifts are available. This position will enable the individual to have as much control as possible over his/her home, provide assistance in various areas including health maintenance, money management, shopping, cooking, ADL skills, socialization, establishing meaningful relationships and community involvement.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Associates degree or high school diploma / GED and equivalent years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Acceptable driving record, valid driver’s license and access to an automobile that can be used to transport individuals.
