Annual Membership Fundraiser

Dear Friends of the North Quabbin Community Coalition:

     Once again, we need to ask for your help in supporting the work of the North Quabbin Community Coalition. Your support is critical in maintaining the efforts that have helped to improve the quality of life for North Quabbin residents for over 25 years.

The Coalition is an important resource for the community and serves a diverse array of community needs. The Coalition’s proven approach to identifying solutions to community challenges has been recognized as a successful model of community engagement and an important tool in building a healthy community.

The Coalition continues to work on key issues within the North Quabbin region, addressing substance abuse prevention for youth with the new Youth CHOICe (Creating Healthy Options In the Community) Project, working to implement an improved system of care for children in need of behavioral health services, managing a web-based resource guide for local resources, offering community education on a variety of topics of prevention, acting as a resource for local non-profit organizations, and working to promote economic development across the nine-town area.

It is only with the generous support of the community that the NQCC is able to survive. Given the many economic challenges that towns, residents and agencies alike have faced this year, it is even more critical that resources are well-coordinated and that collaboration is fostered. The role of the Coalition is even more critical in sustaining the positive momentum already achieved. We appreciate your generous donation to keep the work of the North Quabbin Community Coalition going strong!
